Founded by PET/CT experts Kevin McGehee and Joe Sciarra, Marquis Medical is built on a deep, specialized knowledge of this modality. Meet The Team
Kevin McGehee
Principal
Kevin holds a degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology and began his career as part of the biomedical engineering staff at a major hospital in Baton Rouge, LA. It was there that he gained a deep appreciation for the importance of quick repair turnaround times for clinical staff.
He earned certification as a Diagnostic Radiology Systems Specialist and was responsible for maintaining the hospital’s imaging equipment. Kevin later joined CTI as a Regional Service Manager, overseeing PET and PET/CT service operations.
Following CTI’s transition to Siemens, Kevin and his partner Joe identified a gap in the PET and PET/CT service market. In 2006, they co-founded Marquis Medical to address that need.

Joe Sciarra
Principal
Joe began his career in 1996 by joining the United States Navy, where he served as an Avionics Technician. During his service, he received extensive training in electronics—specializing in radar, navigation, and communication subsystems.
After four years of honorable service, Joe transitioned to the private sector by joining CTI Molecular Imaging as a PET Service Engineer. His dedication and expertise led to a rapid promotion to Northeast Service Manager.
Joe’s hands-on experience in both field service and management made him the perfect partner to join Kevin McGehee in co-founding Marquis Medical in 2006.
